  \nAbout "Battle for Barrhead":\nA a few years ago\, we initiated this pr
 ayer movement that made it’s way around this great County and Town of Ba
 rrhead. I would like to personally thank each of the individuals who gave 
 sacrificially of their time to travel to the various venues. It was indeed
  a heartwarming and inspiring time. \nWe prayed for various needs and have
  seen many of our prayers answered. One of the individuals we prayed for w
 ho had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer contacted us to let us know that
  the doctors have verified that he is now cancer free. Praise the Lord. \n
 This year we are once again hitting the road with an even greater desire a
 nd increased faith knowing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly a
 bove all we can ask or think. We believe that God will not only show up bu
 t that He will show off. \nI want to encourage you to come\, bring your ne
 eds and desires and let’s believe together for the power of God to move 
 and that signs and wonders will result as we trust Him. \nCome believing a
 nd leave refreshed and having received. \n \nThe Need:\nIt doesn’t take
  very long to see that there are numerous and varied needs in our communit
 y and surrounding area. Now one of the responses could be to throw up our 
 hands and say\, “There’s nothing I can do.”\nThough it may seem that
  way at first glance\, I would like to remind you that God’s letter to u
 s called the Bible has a different outlook on it.\nFor example:\n\nIsaiah 
 54:17 “No weapon formed against you will prevail\, and you will refute e
 very tongue that accuses you.”\n1 John 4:4b “Because the one who is in
  you is greater than the one who is in the world.”\nRomans 8:37 “No\, 
 in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
 ”\nRomans 8:31b “If God is for us\, who can be against us?"\nZechariah
  4:6b “Not by might nor by power\, but by My Spirit\, says the Lord Almi
 ghty.”\nEphesians 6:12-18 “For our struggle is not against flesh and b
 lood\, but against the rulers\, against the authorities\, against the powe
 rs of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heav
 enly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God\, so that when the 
 day of evil comes\, you may be able to stand your ground\, and after you h
 ave done everything\, to stand. 14 Stand firm then\, with the belt of trut
 h buckled around your waist\, with the breastplate of righteousness in pla
 ce\, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the g
 ospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this\, take up the shield of faith\,
  with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 
 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit\, which is the wo
 rd of God.18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of pra
 yers and requests. With this in mind\, be alert and always keep on praying
  for all the Lord’s people.”\nPhilippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious abo
 ut anything\, but in every situation\, by prayer and petition\, with thank
 sgiving\, present your requests to God.”\n\n \n**This is the sure Word 
 of God and on this we can stand. This is our sure foundation!!**
