The Power of Testimony - Pastor Ben Kellert
Sunday, May 4th, 2025 - Baptism Sunday!
"The greatest decistion a person can ever make is to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord & Saviour! And then tell people about it!"
We all have a testimony as believers in Jesus - God has rescued and redeemed us and set our feet upon a rock. He adds to our testimonies every.
We can all share our stories and we need to! People are blessed by and encouraged by our personal testimonies.
We have a responsibility to make Him famous!
How to Share your Testimony:
1. Life B.C. (Before Christ)
- Our past and what/where we came from is a pivotal part of our testimony and how He rescued and redeemed us.
2. Point them to Christ
- You can never go wrong with bragging on Jesus!
- "Between my past and my future stands a Cross that changes everything!"
- Jesus shed His blood to set us free!
3. We trust God to do the work!
- Leave the rest to the Holy Spirit
- Our responsibility is to lift up the name of Jesus. He will do the rest!
4. We need to Expect God to Use us
- Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile."
- God wants to use each of us
- Some of us plant the seeds and some of us do the watering by sharing and encouraging
