Easter Sunday: "Who is Jesus?"

There are 4 Major World Religions:

  • Judaism - started by Abraham
  • Buddhism - Buddah
  • Islam - Mohammed
  • Christianity - Jesus Christ

The first 3 founders are all dead and buried... Only Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death and the grave... he is Risen, Resurrected and alive - seated on the throne!

 

Who is Jesus?

  • The King of Kings
  • The Most influential person who has ever lived in all of history
  • the Beginning and the end, Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last!  I AM

He came to the Earth on a rescue mission to save us

He died on the cross so we could have Life!

As Jesus, He was both God and Man at the same time - "The Father is in me and I in the Father..." 

He is the Way, the Truth and the Life - the Same, yesterday, today and forever!

There is no way to Heaven except by the name of Jesus Christ-

God will never be in our debt but we owe everything to Him ("Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe")

What will Your decision be?

  • What will you say when that day comes and you have to stand before the throne to make an account?

Jesus invites you to matter your background... the door is open to follow Him.

He is Alive and invites you today!  He says, "Come, you are Welcome Here!"

He is the way - the Only Way!

He is both exclusive and inclusive:

  • He is the only way but everyone is welcome!

He is Alive - you need Jesus!  

  • He is the only one who can save and deliver you and bring you into Heaven
  • He is coming back again for us - His church!

Who is Jesus?

  • He is the Son of God
  • God-Man
  • The way, the truth and the life

"Who do you say that I am?"

  • You have a soul and Jesus wants to rescue you and call you His own, to make all things new!
