(The following are Pastor Boniface's sermon notes)

Key verse:
Exodus 3:19 (ESV) “But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go
unless compelled by a mighty hand.”

Scripture:
Exodus 3:7-9 (ESV)
Then the LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are
in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their
sufferings, and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the
Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a
land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites, the Hittites,
the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. And now, behold, the
cry of the people of Israel has come to me, and I have also seen the oppression
with which the Egyptians oppress them.

Exodus 3:19-22 (ESV)
But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless compelled by a
mighty hand. So I will stretch out my hand and strike Egypt with all the
wonders that I will do in it; after that he will let you go. And I will give this
people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and when you go, you shall not go
empty, 22 but each woman shall ask of her neighbor, and any woman who lives
in her house, for silver and gold jewelry, and for clothing. You shall put them on
your sons and on your daughters. So you shall plunder the Egyptians.”

CONTEXT:
 Exodus begins where Genesis ends (with the death of Joseph). The descendants
of Jacob (Israel) are living in Egypt and have multiplied into a large
community. But Egypt’s new king, the pharaoh, regards them as a threat and
forces them into slavery.
 Exodus tells the story of how God hears the cry of His people, delivers them
from Egyptian bondage, and leads them to freedom.
 The title, “Exodus”, comes from a Greek word “Septuagint” that means “Going
Out,” or “Exiting” of the Hebrew people from Egyptian bondage.
 It is one of the first five books of the Bible, known as the Pentateuch.

KEY FACTS:
**GOD TOLD MOSES:
1. I have surely seen the affliction
2. I know their sufferings”, and
3. I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and
4. to bring them up to their destiny and so… It is time for their EXODUS.
5. BUT, I know that the king of Egypt will NOT let you go unless compelled by a mighty
hand.

Daniel 10:2-3 In those days I, Daniel, was mourning for three weeks. I ate no
delicacies, no meat or wine entered my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, for
the full three weeks [FASTING].

Daniel 10:10-14 And behold, a hand touched me and set me trembling on my
hands and knees. And he said to me, “O Daniel, man greatly loved, understand the
words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for now I have been sent to you.” And
when he had spoken this word to me, I stood up trembling. Then he said to me,
“Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and
humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come
because of your words. [BUT] The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me
twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was
left there with the kings of Persia, and came to make you understand what is to
happen to your people in the latter days. For the vision is for days yet to come.”

BUT…WHEN IT IS TIME….!!
 No one will be able to withstand God’s plan for your life.
 Time to get a job, married etc
 Time to start or excel in your business
 Time to raise up again in ministry and life
 Time for your success
 Time for your promotion

THE DOOR IS OPEN FOR YOU
BUT…
 Your blessings have already
been released BUT…
 Your prayers have been
answered BUT…
 Your freedom (from diseases,
hurts, abuses etc.) is in your
hands BUT…
 Your ministry is out ready for
use BUT… Time for your healing

Exodus 3:19-22 (ESV)
1. So I will stretch out my hand and strike Egypt with all the wonders that I
will do in it;
2. …after that he will let you go. [WHETHER HE LIKES IT OR NOT]
3. And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians [YOUR
ENEMIES],
4. and when you go, you shall not go empty [GOD’S PROVISION THROUGH
YOUR ENEMIES], but each woman shall ask of her neighbor, and any
woman who lives in her house, for silver and gold jewelry, and for clothing.
You shall put them on your sons and on your daughters.
5. So you shall plunder the Egyptians [YOUR ENEMIES].
OTHER REFLECTIONS!
 When it was time for JESUS to raise up from the dead, the stone could
not hold him back (Luke 24:2-5)
 No matter the size of the stone the devil and his agents put to block you
from raising up again, the Angels on duty will roll it away.
 When it was time for LAZARUS’S resurrection, no matter how many
days he was in the tomb, no matter how stinky he was, Jesus called him
out of the tomb (John 11)
 No matter the number of days the enemy had buried you in the situation
you in right now, Jesus says, “remove the stone” and calling you to
“come out of that grave”.
 When it was time for PETER to get out of jail no matter how many
chains he was in it, the Angels on duty broke the chains and told him
“arise quickly” and led him out of jail...he thought. It was dreaming (Acts
12:3-19)
 No matter how many and how heavy the chains are, the Angels on
duty will break them off...It will be like a dream to you but actually
God has done it.
 When it was time for SARAH to conceive, the age was not a limit, God
through the Angel said to Abraham “this time next year” you will have a
baby (Gen 18:1-15)
 No matter how old you think you are, a miracle can still happen.
Job 22:29 “When they cast you down, and you say, ‘I will raise up again…”

God does everything in his “appointed time” for nothing is too hard for the
LORD (Gen 18:14) = HIS TIME IS ALWAYS THE BEST!
