Ya He Did

Mark 6:45-51  "Jesus Walks on the Water ⁴⁵ Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd. ⁴⁶ After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray.

⁴⁷ Later that night, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on land. ⁴⁸ He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them, ⁴⁹ but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, ⁵⁰ because they all saw him and were terrified.

Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” ⁵¹ Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed,"

Mark 6:3   "Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him."

Psalm 139:13  "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb."

• God wants to use you
• "There is Greatness in your genes.  You were created to be Phenomenal."
• We have a responsibility to encourage our kids to step into their God-given destiny!

vs 48 - "shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them,"

• He waited for their cry for help
• He wants us to call out to Him

Isaiah 65:24 "Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear."

is not to get what you want;

the goal of prayer is to discern what God wants, what God wills.

But if your prayer is in the will of God, then it is backed by the full authority of the King and His Kingdom.”

"...They were completely Amazed!"

• We need to stop being so surprised when God does what His word says He will do!

Ephesians 3:20-21  ^"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, ²¹ to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."

Ya He Did! - He said He would and He did!  That's my Jesus!  We serve a Great, Big, Wonderful God! Get ready!
