"God's not finished with me yet!" -

  • If God gives you a word, He is looking over His word to carry it out. (Jeremiah 1:12 AMP "Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am [actively] watching over My word to fulfill it.”)
  • You can trust Him to keep His promises! 
  • He's still working on me and He's still working on You!!

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Psalm 139:13-18  "For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
    when I was made in the secret place,
    when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    all the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
    How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
    they would outnumber the grains of sand—
    when I awake, I am still with you."

God is the Master Planner and Builder!

  • Jesus builds His Church through us
  • We need Him - the master builder, to continue the work in our lives.

Philippians 1:6  "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

  • We are a work in progress
  • God can take a broken mess and turn it into a message!
  • "God's not finished with me and He's not finished with you either!!

3 Things to Remember while your life is Under Construction:
1. Let God of whatever is holding you back
2. Trust God in your journey
  • the messy places and delays can't stop God's plans

3. Don't give up!

  • There is a prize waiting for you!
  • Don't compare yourself to others (Don't compare your chapter 1 to someone else's chapter 20!!)
  • "Courage doesn't always roar...sometimes it's the quiet voice at the end of the day that says, "I'll try again tomorrow!" -Mary Anne Radmacher

*God sees you differently than others see you - He sees your potential and the plans and purposes that He has for your life!

  • Jeremiah 29:11  "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
  • 1 Samuel 16:7 ESV  "But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

Ephesians 2:10 NLT  "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."

  • You are God's Masterpiece!
  • You are Unique - there will never be another YOU!

You have to look beyond the mess to see the masterpiece.

  • this mess is a sign that I am still Under Construction

Trust God with your life today. 

  • Trust Him with your mess.
  • Trust the process... Just like in a renovation, sometimes He has to tear things down before He can build back up.
  • Will you trust Him with the renovation of your heart and spirit?
